Melissa collected data from a group of people regarding whether or not they prefer turkey or ham and whether or not they prefer mayonnaise or mustard on their sandwiches. The two-way table below displays the relative frequencies of the data. Turkey Ham Total Mayonnaise 0.38 0.24 0.62 Mustard 0.20 0.18 0.38 Total 0.58 0.42 1.00 Based on the relative frequencies of the table, which two-way table is a possible representation of the data collected? W. X. Y. Z. X W Y Z

Which One?
Start with your table: Turkey Ham Total Mayonnaise 0.38 0.24 0.62 Mustard 0.20 0.18 0.38 Total 0.58 0.42 1.00 which entry is easiest to figure out ? (of the 4 boxes (not the totals) )?
Mustard @phi
yes, mustard is 0.2 or 20/100 or 1/5 I would add up each choice, and see if the mustard box is exactly 1/5 of the total hopefully only one choice works. But that would be my first step.
How do i do that?
For choice X, what do the 4 boxes add up to ?
It's better to go in order , and first test W, but it does not matter. Can you add up the 4 numbers in choice X (then we can go back and check W) ?
