How does gay marriage interfere with the U.S. Constitution? I want you're opinions...and some facts :)

Some very important Facts:

Vermont was legally the first state in the United States to legalize same-sex civil unions. This caused other states to question the same-sex marriage legalization. Other states took a vote on whether or whether not to have same-sex marriage legalized. States such as California had a 52% NO vs a 53% YES. They said no first, but then said yes due to the statistics.




My Opinion:

I personally would say that the Republicans are against same-sex marriage due to religion. Religions such as some Native Americans, Wicca, and even some Hinduism believe in same-sex marriage. Therefore, I do not see the problem.

A while back I was reading an article about a Hindu priest that wedded two women. This made India furious... The Hindu Priest was called to an interview about the wedding and how he views same-sex marriage. He said, "Marriage is the union of two souls." That was all he said.

As for same-sex marriage interfering with the U.S. Constitution, I believe that it is not in conflict with the constitution, education, economy, or anything else. Since Republicans are against the separation between church and state, they try to impose their religious ideals on the nation.

Gay - marriages is an abomination to the word of god in the bible man cleaves to his wife a (women) not a man not only that two women will never produce a baby. this is the sloe truth. So what is happening the times have changed and families in the next generation are going to become unfamiliar to some because of what the government has approved for two of the same domain come together as one. God created a man and a women from his rib he didn't create another man for Adam.

It doesn't interfere with the U.S. Constitution. The Constitution states people have the right to be free and happy. Marrying whomever they choose is part of those rights. Taking away these rights just because of the fact two people have the same thing in their pants is Unconstitutional.

Here's some facts:
More Gay couples are willing to adopt than there are Children in the system, not only that they are more willing to adopt the children considered less adoptable.

Two women actually can produce a child and that child will always be female. This is done using one of the females bone marrow.

Gay and bisexual couples were considered the norm in ancient Rome and Greece, I believe it was Alexander the Great who was considered odd for only being attracted to females.

This does have an effect on the children because they are made fun at school and they are tormented by others and not only that the Republicians are not the only ones that are not agreeing with this you also have Democrates that have the same opinions. Yes American is suppose to be free but they found that there is is some states that have racism still.

"Some states". All states have racism. It's a sad fact. Racism also has an effect on children. Republicans, democrats, independents, all groups can have racism. Just like all groups can have homophobia. Or ableism. Or transphobia. All these things effect children. Because children can be gay, disabled, and transexual. They have committed suicide and been murdered because they are not straight nuerotypical kids.
Look, I'm not trying to bash your religion, I know the word of God, I grew up in a Christian family. I don't share those views though. But was it not God who said 'thou shalt love thy neighbor as yourself'?
Everyone deserves equal rights and happiness no matter color, gender, disability, or person they are attracted to. Sure there is Freedom of Religion but there is also something called separation of church and state. Meaning religious views should have no hold over the governing of the US. Just because you think it is wrong and it makes you uncomfortable does not mean you should just be able to block someone from finding true happiness with the person of their choosing.
(Also children today are quite accepting. I've been to classrooms where children have two moms or two dads and are just as accepted as the other children with straight parents.)
