I had to speak at a public conference one time, and I was worried I would fail. Luckily, they gave me a day to prepare. I decided to write it all down on a sheet of paper. And then I would test myself by memorizing it. Then the day finally came when I had to speak. And when I did, I said every single word I wrote down without looking on a sheet of paper. It was a big success and I was happy I aced the speech.
