Landslides and mudslides both result from volcanoes and earthquakes True or False? Can someone help me? I know that landslides and mudslides result from earthquakes but I'm not sure if they do with volcanoes...

JoelTheBoss (joel_the_boss):

@LMH888 You there buddy?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

True.

JoelTheBoss (joel_the_boss):

@MasterprojectHD Before giving an answer prove it. Because how does the asker know if you are right, and not just giving out a random answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right, @Joel_the_boss Landslides are caused by disturbances in the natural stability of a slope. They can accompany heavy rains or follow droughts, earthquakes, or volcanic eruptions. And mudslides develop when water rapidly accumulates in the ground and results in a surge of water-saturated rock, earth, and debris.

Mud slides and also be caused by earthquakes and valcanoes too.
