you want to move the variable with the negative exponent to the opposite side, thus making it a positive. And if you can Divide. but in this case you can not... And any number to the exponent of 0 is = 1 mn^-4/p^0q^-2 n^-4 goes to the bottom and q^-2 goes to the top. therefore mq^2/n^4 http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/4f27afb6e4b0d9cf822e50dd :)
