the product of 4 and ten times x

OpenStudy (dilla):

10x*?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

product means multiplication

OpenStudy (dilla):

10x*4?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well no because when they say product they mean the answer of that times x so it would be more like (10*4)*X

OpenStudy (dilla):

but for say, The product of 9 and twice m is 2m*9

OpenStudy (dilla):

but for say, The product of 9 and twice m is 2m*9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that would be similar but you have to find what twice of x is first so you would put x to the second power in the parentheses and times that by 9 to get the equation.
