Well I'm not exactly sure how Annie will construct her lines since it doesn't state what type of technology she's using. As for Matt, instead of typing it out, I think it will be easier for you to understand by showing you. Go here... http://www.mathopenref.com/constparallel.html and then click "Run". It will show you how to make parallel lines with a compass and straight edge with a computer animation.
