I haven't specifically looked into experiments, but if you want to know a cool thing about it related to humans :P, I remember reading back in the day, about frame of reference and what not etc...the astronauts on the ISS are actually younger than they should be by some seconds, I forgot which astronaut it was, who's 3 seconds younger, as he had been travelling in the space shuttle for so long :P, it's really cool when you get into it, I can explain more later on what exactly is going on with the process and even with some physics.

No, I think that's a misinterpreted fact. I do agree that moving to region having stronger gravitational field will slow down the time for you but will also increase the ageing process.


What I mean to say that suppose you visit a planet close enough to a black hole, and let suppose that for every hour you spend there 10 years pass on earth.

I that case your ageing process will speed up and on that particular planet you life span will be in few hours.
