The discovery of planet Venus is widely credited to the famous Greek intellectual, Pythagoras. He is known for his work in philosophy and mathematics but he was also an expert in astrology and was the first person to conclude that the evening star and the morning star is in fact, a single, astronomical object. Therefore, he correctly discovered Venus as one single object. Pythagoras was born in about 570 BC in Greek. He is said to have visited Italy, Egypt, Babylon, Arabia and other countries in pursue of education.
