Well, I'd try and dissect what they're saying.
A) is saying that the genes are really close to each other.
B) is saying that the genes are linked, what characteristics do you know about linked genes ?

C) is saying the cross-over rate is 3%, which means that these genes -- which we know are transmitted together 97% of the time -- only get swapped around 3% of the time, otherwise staying in their initial configuration on their chromosome. Here, the definition of cross-over really helps !

D) Well, it's basically saying they're close, linked, and only swapped 3% of the time.
