Add them together and make them equal 360. Then solve normally. I think 360..

OpenStudy (crissy15):

I know A*B=X*Y

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

yes

OpenStudy (crissy15):

Nnesha (nnesha):

x times y = a times b

OpenStudy (crissy15):

ok i had that right so 4(4.5)=6(2p-3) 18=? 6 times 2p?

Nnesha (nnesha):

yes

OpenStudy (crissy15):

yes ok i guess like this 4(4.5)=6(2p-3) 18=6(2p) 18=12p-3 18=9p 2=p?

Nnesha (nnesha):

nope 6(2p -3) distribute everything which is in bracket by 6 so its also 6 times -3

Nnesha (nnesha):

did you understand ??

OpenStudy (crissy15):
