so as x going 5 units right y goes 3 units up.
So that means that \(\large\color{slate}{ \Delta x }\) (the change in x) is 5.
And that \(\large\color{slate}{ \Delta y }\) (the change in y) is 3.

and slope (by definition) is \(\large\color{slate}{ \displaystyle \frac{ \Delta y}{\Delta x} }\)
