A stone is thrown off a cliff and lands 22.1m away from the edge. The stone fell vertically at -13.3 m/s when it hit the ground. calculate the speed the stone was thrown horizontally.

Given the final vertical velocity, find the elapsed time. Then use that to determine the horizontal velocity. With projectiles, separate the vertical and horizontal motions and treat each by itself.
