Look at this for the y-intercept and slope. y-intercept is where the line touches the y-axis, and slope is rise over run, so you would find slope by first finding how much it goes up or down, and then how much it goes left or right, and make it a fraction.

And the slope is negative if the line is going down and to the right, but if it is going up and left, it is positive.
