C. Obtuse triangle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You're correct, acute triangles have a 90 degree angle, and 31 + 59 = 90, so the last angle must be 90.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Anything higher than 90 degrees is an Obtuse angle or triangle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

None of the angles are higher than 90 degrees.

Thanks I thought that! Just wanted to make sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Your forgetting about the other side than doesn't have a degrees. You already have 90 degrees but you don't have a degrees for the other side.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The last one is 90 degrees exactly, so it's acute. 31 + 59 = 90 180 - 90 = 90 degree angle
