Which statements describe issues or events that led to civil war in England? Choose all answers that are correct. A. Evidence that the king was secretly aiding France against the Puritans pushed Parliament to overthrow him. B. Rebellions by over-taxed farmers throughout England pushed Parliament to act against the king. C. Charles I dissolved Parliament and tried to raise taxes without their consent. D. Puritans in Parliament wanted James I and Charles I to "purify" the Church of England, but they refused.
I have no idea on this one.
I would choose D.
This is probably B. Or D. I'm saying d because I'm not so sure. But B i'am. Because the king sure did had to prove evidence.
