Acapulco is in Mexico and they follow the Central Standard Time. I am from New York and I know that they use Eastern Standard Time. The difference between these two times is that the CST is one hour back than the EST. So if it is 8:30am CST, then it will be one hour ahead, making it 9:30am EST.
