If they are similar it means that you could 'scale' one of them and it would become identical to the other
@MrNood so how do you find the correct answer?
If oyu rotate the smaller one (in your head so that the angle indicated is in the same place oyu can see that the 2 shapes have a common angle of 120 OK?
so to be similar the 2 side must have th esame ratio in both cases write down the ratio of AB/AD and MN/ML those are the equivalent sides in the 2 shapes. If the ratios are the same then you could scale one to be the same as the other. If th eratios ae NOT the same then as oyu scale ONE side to match , the other side will not match, so they would not be similar Write those 2 ratios - and post your answer here...
