Why did people mix LYRICS with MUSIC ?

Well, this is a really great question. Music itself was actually created in Africa even before the year 7,000 BC. As the ancient Africans created the music, they decided to add chants to the music as a chants to their gods and goddesses. Eventually, the music that they created traveled throughout the world. People added their own chants in the music and eventually, the chants developed into creative writing.

The first song was recorded June 22, 1888 by Thomas Edison singing Mary Had a Little Lamb in Illinois in a museum. In just over 100 years, the music business has managed to corrupt a society, exploit its young people and drive its culture crazy with the hope of FAME, HAPPINESS, and RICHES.

Well actually, the first ever recorded song was the, "Au Clair de la lune by: Pierrot Repondit". It was recorded on April 9th, 1860. Thomas Edison was known to have recorded 'Mary Had a Little Lamb', but the recording was actually Thomas Edison's first recording. http://tinyurl.com/mgft3o9
