Use the card collection box-and-whisker plot to solve. What are the maximum, minimum, and median number of cards? A. minimum: 24 median: 32 maximum: 36 B. minimum: 8 median: 30 maximum: 38 C. minimum: 8 median: 30 maximum: 40 D. minimum: 24 median: 31 maximum: 36
@Data_LG2 It is either A or D. Minimum=smallest..Maximum=Largest. Minimum=24 Maximum=36. I just don't knowhow to do the Median cause there's 2 numbers in middle. would I add them together like.. 28+32=60/2 which = 30? so 30 would be median. Idk
The minimum is the smallest plotted point as the maximum is the largest. The median is marked with a vertical pair within the actual "box."
Yes I just figured that out. Thank you for confirming, Whenever I was taling about the Median. abut subtraction then division. was that correct?
Finding the median is not an issue here. You are given the box plot and asked to read off a median that somebody else computed.
The median is given to be 30 on the box plot.
Thank u!
No way is the minimum 24 when there is a data point at 8.
You are welcome.
