what is the slope of the line whose equation is 2x-4y=10 ?

OpenStudy (ashes.boom):

The equation is in standard form right now so to find the slope you can use y-intercept form y=mx+b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or just us opposite a over b and get -2/-4 which turns into 1/2 and if you wanted to get the y intercept take c over b which is 10 divided by -4 and get -2.5
