Maleficent from the new sleeping beauty movie. Because she recognized her mistakes and tried to fix them. She wasn't worried about saving the world or stuff like that she just wanted to remove the misery she had .caused.

I admire Katniss Everdeen, a character in the book series "The Hunger Games". Katniss's number one priority was always protecting and caring for her family. She never considered herself when she made decisions. Instead, she thought about how her actions would affect those around her. She showed courage even through the toughest times and was able to overcome all obstacles put in front of her. In my mind, Katniss is truly a hero.
