hi i have a quick question about the formula for average velocity = (vf-vi)/(tf-ti) please help

there is this lamppost located at 200m, a house located at 600m and a tree located at 1200m. all of the located at the right side from 0
this kid runs from the house to the lamppost in two minutes and from the lamppost to the tree in 5 minutes
should i have to subtract (1200-200) /7min?
it would be 600/7 = 85.7 m/min thanks me
