OpenStudy (quickstudent):

Can I have some help with this one problem? 2x/3x^3 = ?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

\(\bf \cfrac{2x}{3x^3}\implies \cfrac{2\cancel{ x}}{3xx\cancel{ x}}\implies ?\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ 2x }{ 3x^3 }\]The numbers are already in lowest terms so you can't do any more with them. But can you simplify the x/x^3 part?

OpenStudy (quickstudent):

Oh, now I think I get it. It's 2/3 x^2 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Correct

OpenStudy (quickstudent):

Thanks!!!
