Think of a time when you felt out of breath. Explain what was happening specifically at the level where your cells break down glucose. Are there different processes involved in breaking down glucose when oxygen is low versus when it is high in your system? How does this relate to when you are pushing your body to the limits? In your discussion, relate the difference in ATP production when you are breathing normally to the time when you felt out of breath.
