The puritans were unique among the 17th century colonies in north america in having: A. Religious Tolerance B. Peaceful relations with native Americans C. More equal sex roles D. little opportunity for yeomen farmers E. Impressive educational systems I'm not sure but the first seems somewhat right, but the others may be true as well

Apparently they do not support religious diversity
wow
just...... wow
It's not surprising
Not many people did
well it HAS to be b.
and I dont think its B. After looking into it more
They tried to convert them, thats not peaceful
ok my brains hurting
converting IS peacful
Have you seen or heard how people converted people back then
someone who comverted to a diffrent faith they had the choice to CONVERT
The best case normally was they were banned
Anyway back to the question
i have no idea sorry
Im just gonna review the information i know off the top of my heads going in order.
ok idk if shes even there xD
no ones posting any questions :/
A) Religious tolerance. That's a laugh, Puritans did not know or accept any religious tolerance. They did not encourage religious diversity. B) Peaceful relations with Native Americans. The Puritans landed in Native land, and almost immediately caused guerilla warfare... no. C) More equal sex roles. Puritans were entirely sexist. Ofc, Puritan women were the weaker sex, etc, etc, etc. D) Little opportunity for Yeomen farmers. Well, after reading http://xroads.virginia.edu/~cap/puritan/purhist.html it seems Yeomen farmers were able to contribute to society but not much. The wording of this question makes it tricky. So yeah they had "little" opportunity? Also they were farming -- so /shrug. E) Impressive educational system. Puritans were highly educated people with high literacy levels.
wow... just woow
Sorry I fell asleep, but that you so much! I see what you mean
Don't forget to close this question. Thank! Void!~
