C and D can be eliminated, because angle 1 and angle 3 do not form a straight line. D can be eliminated also, because they are right triangles, and on right triangles, the hypotenuse is always longer than each of the legs.

And we know that when we add up the angles of any triangle up, they add up to 180. :)
