Simplify the expression. (-4+5i)(5+2i) A. -20+17i B. -10+17i C. -20+10i D. -30+17i Nice try guys lmaoo

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first, use FOIL to multiply the first set of coefficients, then outer, then inner, then last. Really you can use any order, but this way keeps you from forgetting a set. so \[(-4*5) + (-4*2i) + (5i * 5) + (5i * 2i)\]

then combine like terms

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can use foil method for solving this question..
