1.) When a question has already been answered and still hasn't been closed for 24 hours they automatically close. 2.) I don't know if this is a good idea, but maybe you could tag someone in the chat to get them to come, just like when it goes orange and has other people's username. I don't know about the last one, but it gets a tiny bit annoying when people don't close their question after they got the answer. :)
yah
I would also agree with this
Thanks :)
I'm with you on this this is a great idea
Last one = jumbo spam
Spam @sammixboo or any other user in the chats, woo
I didn't think about that, your probably right. :) Thanks for the feedback!
right that would be spam but i agree with number 1 i love it
I agree
True, I absolutely agree with 1.
The first one is a great idea
Thanks! @Alwayslearning @EclipsedStar
for the first idea (I think it's been suggested before) but what would you consider "answered"? the asker could have commented on their own question to amend something and what about tutorial posts? or posts about section rules? I suppose people want to keep those open... and music posts and design posts, people keep those open for months xD lol
Answered, like if they got an explanation for a math question and was asked to close the question. I see your point though... I think that Mathematics and English would be the main place that needs questions closed :)
For #1.. What about a tutorial? Tutorials would have responses to them saying stuff like "Good Job!" Those would also be closed after 24 hrs?
Also not everyone's post gets answered. What if the user tags someone? Would that be considered as the post was replied to?
Yeah, I guess your right. Maybe we just need people to close their own questions ;)
But if you always want :P Mods can close posts too :) (I would know) (JK)
1. Someone could comment something that does not answer the question. Plus people want their tutorials to be open for years. 2. It has been suggested before.
Thanks for the feedback! I now realize these were not the best ideas :)
An idea is an idea regardless of how good it is. @nevermind_justschool
maybe close all inactive math posts in 48 hours?
