Well there are 27 kids that need to be in groups of 12 and we see we can make 2 groups of 12 but it wants to know how many COMBINATIONS. so I would multiply 27 by 12 but thats just my opinion

well it is actually Combination of 27 elemnts taken 12 at a time..so answer ill be 27C12

It will be 27C12. because you have to choose any 12 from 27.
tricky question though!!!! I think only two groups can be made, yeah leaving three students!!!!
