OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

What is your scale?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

scale?

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

Is there anything else you aren't showing? It says the scale on the blueprint.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nop.

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

Well, I'm really not sure...

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

@YanaSidlinskiy ?

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

Are those your answers in red?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea, they are/were all wrong.

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

So how did you figure it all out?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no.

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

What do you mean, "no"?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i didnt figure it out cause im horrid at math

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

But how did you get those answers? Must've worked them all out to know that you're wrong, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no my teacher told me i'm wrong.

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

Lets start with the first part. We have the oven. Its dimensions are: 30" X 25"

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

I may be wrong. I may be right. But I'm thinking you need to half all those dimensions given to you. Like for example: What would be half of 30? So that would be your width for the oven. Next what would be half of 25? and etc....You might would like to check my work with some others.

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

@undeadknight26 am I right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

dire?

Directrix (directrix):

You'll have to post the blueprint. That is the only way to figure this out. @MathHelpp10x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

http://prntscr.com/60dehy i did

Directrix (directrix):

Oh, the two print screen links looked like one link to me and I did not see it. Sorry.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its fine.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i cant see the question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

http://prntscr.com/60p8pa

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i am on the school computer and that website is blocked

OpenStudy (anonymous):

all i can use is prntscr.com/

Directrix (directrix):

Some of the mystery marks on the blueprint did not show up. Are they numbers? Look on the original blueprint and then on the posted copy and tell us the information we cannot see.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

those marks are just marks.

Directrix (directrix):

@_Bugzbunny_ Questions and Blueprint posted for you

Directrix (directrix):

@MathHelpp10x Look at the number I marked in red on this attachment. It looks like 730. Without more information, I don't see any way to do this problem. There is something we are not seeing.

Directrix (directrix):

"You will see the scale listed on the blueprint..." So, why are we not seeing it, I wonder.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there is nothing there.

Directrix (directrix):

Ask the teacher where the scale factor is on the blueprint. Maybe the teacher has eagle eyes and can tell us. Otherwise, leave this thread open for somebody on OS who can see more than we can.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thnx

Directrix (directrix):

I looked at some online similar blueprints and those had dimensions on them. I think whoever clipped the blueprint for this problem chopped off the dimensions and doesn't know it. @_Bugzbunny_

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that sucks
