Evaluate the expression when x = 9: 5|6 – x|

so replace x with 9 and calculate the value. absolute value only needs magnitude, and not direction ( + or -) so then multiply the value without a sign by 5

So lets input the 9 so its 5|6-9|. so now we subtract the 6 from the 9 which is -3 so we are left with 5|-3| but remeber that any negative number in an absolute value is always a positive so we do 5|3| which equals to 15.
