jagr2713 (jagr2713):

what is the best way to solve a non-linear equation. algebraically or graphing Explain

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

@pooja195 @satellite73 @Directrix @TheSmartOne

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

what kind of non linear equation are exactly talking equations of this \[ax^2+bx+c=0\] or something like this \[ax^3+bx^2+cx+d=0\] or equation involving trigonometry , or perhaps those with exponential and logs be specific your question is very broad all of these i mentioned are non-linear

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

and algebraic or graph just depends on the situation and the question that is been asked

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

like which one is easiest

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

look there is not easiest or harder! just depends on how the question wants you do it! and your question is still unclear and broad perhaps if you specify with examples it would be more clear what you need to know

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

like how is solving non linear equations algebraically easier than solving them graphically

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

you are just circling around the same thing you are still in a big ocean tell me for example i want to know how to fish exactly octopus! do you get my point

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

well.. @jagr2713 do you know how to solve a linear equation? how to solve for "y"? do you know how to graph it?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

if not, then you may want to start there first then you could decide which one is easier
