Is this a good speech

OpenStudy (anonymous):

My topic is how to make a awesome birthday party. This is a question that runs through all lot of peoples mind. To make a friend or kid feel like they are the big person. Sounds like fun!!! First decided who your friend or kid is. Think about what their favorite color and things they like to watch. After you do that you could hang streamers from the walls and add some things from the favorite thing to watch. Secondly decided on food. Ask your self if they like chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry. You must be careful and ask the people who are coming what they are allergic to. For the dinner ask yourself what is the birthday person's favorite food and drink. Don’t forget the people coming. You can get multiple drinks for everyone. Lastly but least make the party fun. Add games and activities that will entertain everyone. You can hire a princess or pay a band to come in and play. Make sure to include stuff for all age groups (if different ages coming). You could also go to an amusement park or go on a vacation somewhere the birthday person wants to go. How to make a awesome birthday party? A question that runs through peoples mind can be solved easily. Remember that a birthday is something special and should be made special for that special person.

A universal question that runs through peoples minds can be solved easily. Remember that a birthday is something special and should be made special for that special kid. -------------------------------------------------------------- Narrow the topic to a kid's party. Adults are kids at heart. Check to see if this needs an apostrophe: peoples What do you mean by "things" in "things he likes" Be more specific about "the favorite thing " Thing does not convey meaning.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

omg thank u

Directrix (directrix):

The word "thing" needs to be replaced by whatever you mean by thing.

Directrix (directrix):

And, this line might as well be deleted because it is redundant. In my first review, I see that it is illogically placed in the essay. >> Don’t forget the people coming. You can get multiple drinks for everyone. Does not add anything new. I will help someone with a math problem while you make your edits on my edit. Then, we'll see how that looks.

Directrix (directrix):

@kristinak Thanks for your suggestions and comments. Come back in a few minutes and critique Bunny's revisions.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so make those last fixer upers and its good

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Directrix (directrix):

Make your note card bullet points as @kristinak said. Number the note cards so that if you drop them, you can easily get them in order. Write on the front of the cards only.

Directrix (directrix):

Look at the audience when you speak. Not just those at the front but everyone.

OpenStudy (anonymous):
