What were some ways jews used to survive in the concentration camps?
what starving people do in prisons
hehe
@SwagBag Im being serious man, I have to do a report on it
what that was not suggestive
You have to be specific
okay. let me think
everything depended on resources they had/found access to
well some people survive because there were some not a lot but some good Nazi's that spared there lives and also there was the liberation of the camps
yep they bribed and traded with guards, they shared food with only one person
since they would all die that person might live longer
and escape mebbe
also with social ties with non jews in which that jew had something the non jew wanted
they also had escapes
the great escape consisted of an underground workshop where hundreds of common items were used to escape
there was a whole wooden railroad made of beds and stuff
pretty cool maybe you could look into it
The survivors had many different techniques to survive. Some survived on the prospect of meeting their family again. They held out and was constantly looking for them. Others survived by getting "buddy buddy" with the upper jews. (The barracks were sometimes actually ran by other prisoners). They were able to get extra food here and there. Others still survived by thievery. They stole shoes, blankets, and food from prisoners who were on their death bed. Which in a way made some sense: If they were going to die, why waste that loaf of bread. And then there were those who were just plain lucky. They narrowly escaped every perilous obstacle in their way, and were rescued by the Allies. These people were brave, strong, determined, and cunning. Most were not afraid of what they had to do because they figured "what else do I have to lose?"
Yes the non-jews would provide support/protection in order to help the jews escape and survive
over 70 men escaped but only three actually made it out of the country
honestly it's a pretty generic question as to how starving people survive in prisons.
Yes in prisons they trade and even steal supplies to keep alive
research third world prisons and you have your (very many) answers
sianara sleepy time
