Let \(f(x) = x^{1/(x-1)}\) for \(x\neq 1\). How should f(1) be defined to make f continuous at x =1? Please, help

OpenStudy (kainui):

By just plugging in values like f(1.01), f(1.001), f(1.000001) etc it appears to be approaching e.
