Ok I have a question The problem: B +2 over 3 minus B - 2 over 7. The way I did this is first I found a common denominator in 21 I then to multiplied all of the numbers by 21 to get rid of the fractions. I got 7b + 14 - 3b - 6 = 42. I combined all the like numbers to get 4b + 8 = 42. I subtracted the 8 from both sides to get 4b = 34. Then when I divide to get B it would turn into b=8.5. That is wrong. Can I please get some direction into where I went wrong?
