OpenStudy (zasharra):

would someone plz help me. i have no idea what to do, and i have to have this turned in.. plz

OpenStudy (alekos):

here i am

OpenStudy (zasharra):

ty so much! ill post the parts.

OpenStudy (zasharra):

you will need a six-sided die with the numbers 1-6 labeled on it.

OpenStudy (paki):

are you familiar with probability...?

OpenStudy (zasharra):

I really suck at math

OpenStudy (alekos):

what are the numbers on the die?

OpenStudy (zasharra):

Trigonometric Functions 1.Draw a right triangle. Roll a die two times and record the numbers you roll. On the drawing of your right triangle, label the legs of the triangle using the numbers you rolled. Use the Pythagorean Theorem to find the length of the hypotenuse and write out the steps you performed using words. You must show all work to receive credit. Here's an example below. Notice the dice have values above the values you will have on your six-sided dice. Please use your own original values from rolling your dice: If a seven and nine are rolled, then the legs of the triangle can be labeled as follows: 2.Draw another right triangle. Roll a die one time and record the number you roll. Label one of the legs of a right triangle with the number you rolled. Now, roll the die two more times and record the numbers you roll. Use the two numbers you rolled to create an angle measure for your triangle. On the drawing of your right triangle, label the leg and angle of the triangle using the numbers you rolled. Find the length of the missing leg and find the missing angle measure. Write a paragraph telling how you found the missing values. You must show all work to receive credit. Here's an example below. Notice the dice have values above the values you will have on your six-sided dice. Please use your own original values from rolling your dice: Roll # 1: A die is shown with the number 11 visible. Rolls # 2 and # 3: A picture of two dice is shown. One die is showing the number 7 and the other die is showing the number 9. If an eleven is rolled, then label one leg of the triangle eleven units in length. If the next two rolls yield a seven and nine, then label one angle as 79°. A right triangle is shown. One leg is labeled 11 and an interior angle is labeled 79 degrees. 3.Draw another right triangle. Roll a die two times and record the numbers you roll. On the drawing of your right triangle, label the legs of the triangle using the numbers you rolled. Use the Pythagorean Theorem and trigonometric functions to find the length of the hypotenuse and the missing angle measures. Write a paragraph telling how you found the missing values. You must show all work to receive credit. Here's an example below. Notice the dice have values above the values you will have on your six-sided dice. Please use your own original values from rolling your dice: Rolls # 1 and # 2: Two dice are shown. One die is showing the number 9 and the other die is showing the number 11.

OpenStudy (zasharra):

i dont have a six sided dice, but its ok if we use random numbers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i can role a 6 sided dice for u brb

OpenStudy (alekos):

need to know the sample space

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got a 6 and a 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

brb

OpenStudy (zasharra):

ty. now i need to know what steps to take. i really dont understand this at all

OpenStudy (zasharra):

@alekos u there we got 6 and 5

OpenStudy (alekos):

well then using pythagoras you can work out the hypotenuse H^2 = 5^2 + 6^2

OpenStudy (zasharra):

is this this the shown work? and if so i suppose to have a triangles to show to the dice numbers on

OpenStudy (zasharra):

@paki

OpenStudy (zasharra):

@pinkiepieinthetardis do you know what to do? im never gonna get this done

OpenStudy (zasharra):

H^2 = 10 + 12 @paki is this what is suppose to be?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry i strigled in the geomatry corse but i know people who can help brb

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yay peple

OpenStudy (zasharra):

ikr

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol i am so tired i con not spell

OpenStudy (zasharra):

omg they left

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have a q r we aloud to say cr ap ? cause it is not a bad word no lets just say balony

OpenStudy (zasharra):

@alekos did you give up. i honestly have no idea what to do plz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Kainui

OpenStudy (zasharra):

dang! i can't even get ''help''!... maybe i should just ask for answers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ive got a mod on the job oohh that rimes

OpenStudy (zasharra):

im gonna cry. i have to get this turned in and i have no clue what to do

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know how you feel but look there is a mod here he can help just tipe ur q again

OpenStudy (kainui):

Let's take it one step at a time. "1.Draw a right triangle." Can you do that? Once you do, cross it out and keep going. It's ok that you are not good at math, that's why you're in the class so you can learn and get better.

OpenStudy (zasharra):

ok hld on n ty

OpenStudy (kainui):

Just do one sentence at a time, when you get to a sentence that gives you trouble, ask and I will help you. =)
