MEDAL AND FAN!!! What is the exact circumference of a circle with a radius of 12 inches?
The formula for the circumference of a circle is C = 2\(\pi\)r, so what do you think the answer is?
75.4in is the anwser
So when we plug in the values into the equation, we get 2 x 3.14 x 12. Can you figure that out?

The formula is \(C = \pi d\) Where 'd' is diameter.
What's 12 * 2?
@iGreen. That's wrong.
No, it's not. 2 * r is the same thing as the diameter.
@lordoftanks Can you multiply 12 * 2?
The formula is actually C = 2 x pi x radius

Oh, we're pretty much using the same thing.. lol
ooo thx
@lordoftanks Can you multiply 12 * 2? That will give you your answer in terms of pi.
Because the one I am using uses multiplies it to 2, and the radius is half the diameter, so we get the same answer.
That's what I said.
