Based on the graph below, what are the solutions to the equation f(x) = g(x)?
@iGreen. @chosenmatt
It's where they intersect
And that's at 3 places.
Do you have options?
yes one sec
x = -3, 0.8, 4 x = -1.9, 0.8, 4.1 x = -2, 2, 3 x = -2.5, 0.8, 3
I think its C
@iGreen.
Hmm..-2, looks right..but none of the others..
Look at the x-axis, and look at the places where they intersect that should give you the answer.
Look very carefully at the graph. I really think its C. Please prove me wrong if i am. What do you think it is?
Look at 2 on the x-axis..go all the way up..there isn't an intersection there. Same with 3.
Try again
C'mon you can do it! @domisreallytall
I don't understand.... Im sorry.
It looks like B to me..the first intersection looks like it's around -2. The first number in Option B is -1.9 which is very close to -2. The 2nd intersection looks like it's around 1. The 2nd number in Option B is 0.8, which is very close to 1. The 3rd intersection looks like it's around 4. The 3rd number in Option B is 4.1, which is very close to 4.
Understand?
Hmmmm yea. Ok I'll try it! Thank you!
I have just a few more if you can help me. I will give you a medal for each one
