One of the rights of a US citizen is to vote, yet many young citizens (18-25 ) do not take advantage of this. What misconceptions do you think 18-25 year olds have about voting (in other words, why do you think they don’t take advantage of this right?) Why is it important for young people to cast their ballots in local, state and national elections? You must include the idea of “sovereignty” in your writing – describe what it means and why it is important
Anybody any websites?

There's many, many different reasons.. For some, they feel as if their representatives do not care about them - and no matter what, they will get screwed over. Most people (of all age groups, not just the younger generation) find politics, government, voting, etc to be boring, unexciting, and unworthy of their time. It takes time to register, vote, etc and many people just do not care about it. Another reason why some people choose not to vote is the lack of a good candidate. If you have two delusional leaders that do not even have the slightest of grasp on foreign policy, economics, etc, running for office, I would not be too keen on voting for either of them. Thus I would probably just not vote in the primary election. There are many more reasons than those three, but those are the most common (at least from my exposure).
Thank you! Did you write this yourself or did you get it from a website? I'm going to use that and I have to have where I got everything from.. @Shredder477
I just wrote it, although i've heard my ideology expressed many times prior to this :p
I'll change it around so it's no plagiarism, but I'm going to use what you said, it's good! Thanks so much!
