Can anyone respond to the following questions in negative? As-tu quelque chose a manger? Parles-tu a quelqu'un? Voyages-tu avec quelqu'un?

OpenStudy (ichliebedich):

1.Non, je ne ai pas rien à manger. 2.Je ne parle pas à tout le monde. 3.i don't travel with someone.

OpenStudy (ichliebedich):

3.i ne voyage pas avec quelqu'un.

Well tried, @ichliebedich :) Unfortunately, the pronouns used are not the right ones in Q2 and Q3. The negative for "quelqu'un" is "personne" (no one or noboby) Correct answers are: 1. Non, je n'ai rien à manger. ("rien" replaces "pas", if you leave "pas" in the sentence, it means just the opposite) 2. Non, je ne parle à personne. ("pas" must be omitted as well) 3. Non, je ne voyage avec personne.

im not that good with french, and yes your answers are correct

The way to negate a word in French, do "ne verb pas" but, if the verb starts with a vowel, do "n'verb pas" for example, J'aime la glace. I like ice cream. To negate it, Je n'aime pas la glace. I do not like ice cream. I hope that helps for future reference :)
