Let's say we have |x| = 3 These lines means absolute value. It is the value of the number with no integer sign, so that means |3| = 3 and |-3| = 3 So do you know what your answer would be?

Well, absolute values mean the number inside it could be either negative or positive and the number on the other side of the "=" sign would always be positive. So you can go off of that.
