OpenStudy (sparklestaraa):

Which of the following inequalities is best represented by this graph

@mathmath333

OpenStudy (sparklestaraa):

@phi pleaseeee help :)

OpenStudy (mathmath333):

pick up a points let's say \(\large (2,0)\) which is inside the shaded region and see it satisfies which option. \(\large 5\times x+y\leq 2\) \(\large 5\times 2+0\leq 2\) \(\large 5\times 2+0\geq 2\) \(\large 5\times 2-0\leq 2\) \(\large 5\times 2-0\geq 2\)

OpenStudy (sparklestaraa):

C or B @mathmath333

OpenStudy (mathmath333):

two options are possible here \(B\) and \(D\) now we have have to find out which one is correct

OpenStudy (mathmath333):

but we can see from graph that it passes throgh two points \((1,3)\) and \((-2,0)\) so find the equation of line of these two points to see if it mathces with \(b \) or \(d\)

OpenStudy (sparklestaraa):

OHHHH C maybe :( idk

OpenStudy (mathmath333):

have u tried to find the equation of line

OpenStudy (mathmath333):

yes its D as the equation of line is,5x-y=2
