@k12andstudyislandhelp I need help one more time

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In a plant, roots absorb water and nutrients. Those materials are then transported to other parts of the plant.Which statements describe the system in an animal that functions in a similar way? Choose all answers that are correct. A. Materials are transported throughout the animal's body by the circulatory system. B. An animal's hormones move nutrients throughout the animal's body like water in a plant's system moves nutrients. C. Nutrients are moved in a plant by water, much like the blood that moves nutrients throughout an animal's body. D. Responsibilities of transporting materials throughout the animal's body are done by the endocrine system.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um..... i need you @Luigi0210 and i need @robtobey and i also need @sammixboo and the rest of you. @undeadknight26 @hoblos @confluxepic Can you help @Answer_with_a_Aplus

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so you dont know.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, sorry

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

@k12andstudyislandhelp You don't nee that many people do you?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, but sometimes people dont answer, so i tagged as many as i could

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

Okay then.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So can u help?

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

Let me check.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

What do you think it is. @Answer_with_a_Aplus

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A? Idk thats why i asked

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

You are correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, Thanks

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

C could also work couldn't it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk @Luigi0210

OpenStudy (somy):

@Luigi0210 is correct also A. Materials are transported throughout the animal's body by the circulatory system. Thats right - circulatory system does transport materials throughout the body - and it functions like both xylem and phloem put together B. An animal's hormones move nutrients throughout the animal's body like water in a plant's system moves nutrients. Absolutely wrong, hormones are chemical messengers - they are one responsible for changing body conditions to adapt to changes - in other words they play role in homeostasis - try to maintain equilibrium in body but effecting targeted cells to produce something or stop producing something etc so it has nothing to do with transport C. Nutrients are moved in a plant by water, much like the blood that moves nutrients throughout an animal's body. This is also true, because nutrients are indeed moved in water, water is universal solvent basically - so everything is transported in water in animals as well as plants, only difference is that in animals this water is present in blood, so blood is considered to be one transporting while in plants is just water - so this option is also correct D. Responsibilities of transporting materials throughout the animal's body are done by the endocrine system. Absolutely wrong, endocrine system is related to hormones - which is related to homeostasis and other functions definitely nothing to do with transportation such as in xylem and phloem

um... Thank you @Somy I am going to get one of my friends to medal you. Thank you, again.

OpenStudy (somy):

don't mind it, its okay :) as long as you understood/ learnt something :)
