OpenStudy (holly00d1248):

I do not agree with you on the first or the second one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why not?

OpenStudy (holly00d1248):

how did you get it explain it and maybe ill understand

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first you do 3 multiplied by -1, which gets you -3. then you subtract -4, which is the same as adding 4. -3+4= 1. this is the first.

OpenStudy (holly00d1248):

arent you supposed to do multiplication last???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for the second, first you multiply 3 by -2. this gets you -6. then you subtract -4, which is the same as adding 4. -6+4=-2.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, multiplication is always first- remember PEMDAS- parentheses, exponents, multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction.

OpenStudy (holly00d1248):

Ok your right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:) hope i helped.
