In an ideal transformer, does the secondary coil maintain a steady ac voltage despite any kind impedance connected in a circuit to it? Any help would be much appreciated.

OpenStudy (kenljw):

That depends if you have an Ideal AC source supplying the Transformer, if it is there is no effect, the load change reflects back to the primary.

Any reduction in voltage would be because of the load impedence mismatching with the secondary coil impedence.. so as long as these two are in the same range..or atleast close .. there wont be any considerable drop in the secondary output.
