An observer 2 km from the launchpad observes a rocket ascending vertically. At one instant, the angle of elevation is 21 degrees. Five seconds later, the angle has increased to 35 degrees. HOW far did the rocket travel during the 5-s interval? WHAT was its average speed during the interval? IF the rocket keeps going vertically at the same average speed, what will be the angle of elevation 15 s after the first sighting?
I need help drawing this vector problem
I don't think it is actually a vector problem. It is a trig' problem, then a dash of physics to solve for speed.|dw:1423108345258:dw| Just solve for height at 21 and 35 degrees of elevation, calculate speed (average), using the reults determine height at 15 seconds, then determine the resultant angle of elevation for that height.
