TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

@pooja195 Why: -> As a small boy, Louis had witnessed the rebellious nobles of the Fromde in Paris. He decided to remove himself from the dangers and humiliation he had faced, make his power absolute, and allow no opposition. How: 1. He made nobles live at Versailles (palace of Louis) -> Nobles had to serve him at all times; in this way, Louis kept constant eye on nobles. -> Nobility now could advance only by getting royal favors and offices. 2. He excluded nobles from his councils. 3. He increased the power of the government agents called intendants, who collected taxes and administered justice.
