OpenStudy (anonymous):

a function has for each input only 1 output the input is x the output is y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

does that help or no?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not really

OpenStudy (anonymous):

look at B for example. it has the input of 9 and the output of 0, 9 is the x value, 0 is the y value it also has for the input of 9 the output of -8, 9 is the x value, -8 is the y value

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so that has an input which gives two different outputs

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so b is not possible

OpenStudy (anonymous):

correct, B is not a function

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so then A?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use that same logic to look at A,C,D and you will find the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, A is correct, nice :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you very much :D
